We’ll be down in Eugene this Saturday August 15 for the first ever Hard Times Distillery Expo at the Hult Center. Sample the best of Oregon’s many distilled spirits. Live music, great food, cocktails, ciders, beer, and unlimited samples of locally made spirits.

Summer is so close you can almost taste it, especially over at McMenamins Edgefield where The Oregon Distillers Guild and McMenamins will host the second annual Oregon Distillers Festival on Saturday, July 18.
Fenrir is hosting a Release Party for our Rolling River Spirits Bjørkevoll’s Holiday Aquavit this Thursday June 25th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
Master Distiller Tim Rickard will join them behind the bar for an evening of drinking and education as we release our Holiday Aquavit! They’ll be mixing up special cocktails to pair with Fenrir’s wonderfully delicious Scandinavian fare!

“For everything that is unique to an individual, if it does not wish to be silent, needs its proper language.” (Rilke) My mode of language is painting in a highly abstracted voice of dream, poetry, myth. Between space and shadow, paintings emerge more stream of consciously than contrived. My work have been described as ethereal, evocative, emotive, sometimes nostalgic–perhaps trying to capture fleeting moments-the viewer adds the signified. Solitude and silence provide the back space for these reflections; themes of mirrors, water and night recur.
The words of poets and storytellers resonate then fade, their echoes transforming into time-intensive, multi-layered images…
